    Silverpeak Global offers Japanese language program under the following courses:

  2. What is the eligibility and selection criteria for each of the courses?

  3. What are the different levels of Japanese language program delivered in India?

    Elementary level (N5) / Quasi- intermediate level (N4) / Intermediate level (N3) of Nihongo/ Japanese Language will be delivered in India, depending on the course opted for by the candidate.

  4. What are the durations of the Japanese language programs in India

    Elementary level (N5) – around 200 hours

    Quasi- intermediate level (N4) -around 250 hours

    Intermediate level (N3)- around 300 hours

  5. What is J-Cert?

    J-Cert is a Japanese Language Proficiency test for non-native Japanese speakers. Candidates are assessed on the reading, writing, listening and speaking abilities in Japanese.

  6. What is the duration of Japanese Language program in Japan?

    The duration of Japanese Language program will depend on the course/level taken up.

  7. What is the fee payment schedule?

    Fee payment schedule will be given in the admission offer letter upon the selection of the candidate.

  8. Is bank loan available?

    Yes, bank loans are available. SPG will provide necessary documents to students applying for bank loan.

  9. When one can apply for PR?

    Generally, within 3 years of stay in Japan

  10. What are the minimum years of work permit/Visa granted by Japanese govt on completion of language training and securing a job?

    Work visa will be processed based on your employment contract. Once the candidate (adequately skilled) secures a full-time job, within 1-3 years he/she is eligible for PR in Japan.

  11. What is the average salary for full-time jobs in Japan?

    The average salary for engineering graduates with Japanese Language Level N3 range between 20 -24 lacs JPY per annum.

  12. What is average cost of living in Japan?

    Average cost of living varies between JPY 40,000 to JPY 80,000 depending on the city. One should set aside roughly between 25% to 35% of one’s salary for the same.

    Candidates are not required to sign any bond

  14. How difficult it is to adjust to a new culture and lifestyle in Japan

    Every country has a unique culture. Adjusting to the culture is just a matter of time. Learn about the culture before you go to Japan. Keep an open mind and observe and embrace the many layers of Japanese tradition and culture. It also helps to have a positive attitude towards every new experience. It may give you a deeper understanding and awareness of what and why certain things are followed in Japanese culture.

  1. What certificate will be provided on completion of Language Course in Japan?

    Japanese Language Completion Certification from respective universities/institutes will be provided to the candidates on completion of each course/level.

  2. When are the intake cycles for language program

    There are two intake cycles:

    • In the month of April
    • In the month of October

  3. List of documents required for admission and visa process.

    Along with filled application form, the following documents are to be submitted –

    1. All Marks Cards – 10th/12th/Graduation
    2. All Certificates
    3. Aadhaar Card
    4. PAN Card
    5. Passport Copy – Front and Back
    6. Photographs – 20 nos.

  4. What is the average salary for part time jobs in Japan?

    Candidates can earn minimum of 715 JPY per hour during part time jobs.

  5. What is the duration of Visa sanctioned by Japanese Govt. after the completion of the Japanese Language Program in India & Japan?

    12- 15 months

  6. What level of Japanese Language Proficiency is required for a Full-time job in Japan?

    Minimum N3 level is required.

  7. If any candidate does not get a job after the course, is he/she required to return to India? or will they get an extension of visa for job search in Japan?

    In such scenario, visa can be extended with the Japanese Immigration. However, an application for extension of visa needs to be made at-least three months prior expiry of their current visa.

  8. What is the average salary for full-time jobs in Japan?

    The average salary for engineering graduates with Japanese Language Level N3 ranges from 20 -24 lacs JPY per annum.

  9. What kind of part time works are given to the students?

    The part time jobs can be technical/ non-technical depending upon the student’s command over Japanese language.

  10. What kind of student facility will be provided in Japan?

    Accommodation, Lodging, Food, Insurance, Books and utility are arranged in Japan for the candidates. Apart from these, student counselling, career development, part-time and assistance for full-time job is provided by SPG Japan.

    According to Global Peace Index compiled by The Institute for Economics & Peace, Japan is the safest country in the world.

  12. How difficult is Japanese Language to learn?

    Leaning any new language is a challenge. It is more of a mental barrier and misconceptions that Japanese language is difficult to learn. If looked at from a linguistic point of view, Japanese is considered one of the easier languages for a beginner to learn.
