Frequently Asked Questions

SilverPeak Global offers various programs for Engineers, Diploma Engineers, Hospitality Graduates and Nurses. They include:

  • Industry Oriented Program (IOP) for Engineers
  • Industry Oriented Program (IOP) for Hospitality Graduates
  • Careers for Nurses - Caregiver Program under NSDC- TITP
  • 1 year Post Graduate Masters in Management (PGMM) in Japan

Level N5 (Basic Level), Level N4 and Level N3 of Japanese Language is delivered in India, depending on the course opted for by the candidate and the requirement from the recruiting company in Japan.

Elementary level (N5) – around 200 hours

Quasi- intermediate level (N4) -around 250 hours

Intermediate level (N3)- around 300 hours

J-Cert is a Japanese Language Proficiency test for non-native Japanese speakers. Candidates are assessed on the reading, writing, listening and speaking abilities in Japanese.

The duration for teaching Japanese Language exclusively is mentioned below, however the course opted may require candidates to also undergo Japanese business culture training and technical training where the duration would vary accordingly.

Level (N5) – around 200 hours

Level (N4) – around 250 hours

Level (N3) – around 300 hours

Yes, bank loans are available. SPG will provide necessary documents to students applying for bank loan. The loan dispersal is under the sole discretion of the Bank concerned.

Generally, within 3 years of stay in Japan

Work visa will be processed based on your employment contract. Once the candidate clears the final interview, the respective company shall process their work visa, which could range from 1-5 years and is renewable.

The average salary for engineering graduates with Japanese Language Level N3 ranges between 20 -24 lacs JPY per annum. Salaries are depended on various factors including – Japanese Language Proficiency, Course studied, Technical Interview outcome, Location of the Job, etc.,

Average cost of living varies between JPY 40,000 to JPY 80,000 depending on the city. One should set aside roughly between 25% to 35% of one’s salary for the same.

Candidates are not required to sign any bond.

Every country has a unique culture. Adjusting to the culture is just a matter of time. Japan is Asian at heart and is easy to adapt to for Indians due to the striking similarity in terms of tradition, practices and family values. Learn about the culture before you go to Japan. Keep an open mind and observe and embrace the many layers of Japanese tradition and culture. It also helps to have a positive attitude towards every new experience. It may give you a deeper understanding and awareness of what and why certain things are followed in Japanese culture.

Japanese Language Completion Certification from respective universities/institutes will be provided to the candidates on completion of each course/level.

SPG follows a quarterly Intake cycle – January/ April/ July/ October. Intakes may also depend on client requirements.

Along with filled application form, the following document copies are to be submitted –

  1. All Marks Cards – 10th/12th/Graduation
  2. All relevant certificates
  3. Aadhaar Card
  4. PAN Card
  5. Passport Copy – Front and Back
  6. Photographs – 10 nos.

Candidates can earn minimum of 715 JPY per hour during part time jobs. Salaries during PT Jobs may go up depending on Japanese Language Proficiency.

12- 15 months

Minimum N3 level is required. N2 is most ideal.

In such scenario, visa can be extended with the help of the Japanese Immigration and the local institute the candidate is studying in. However, an application for extension of visa needs to be made at-least three months prior expiry of their current visa.

The part time jobs can be technical/ non-technical depending upon the student’s command over Japanese language.

Accommodation, Lodging, Food, Insurance, Books and utility are arranged in Japan for the candidates. Apart from these, student counselling, career development, part-time and assistance for full-time job is provided by SPG Japan.

Leaning any new language is a challenge. It is more of a mental barrier and misconceptions that the Japanese language is difficult to learn. If looked at from a linguistic point of view, Japanese is considered one of the easier languages for a beginner to learn.
